STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- After the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic shut down the world, many in the Gen Z generation -- like Bridget Billings, 23, Gabriella Ferrelli, 23, and Amanda Notarnicola, 24 -- realized the importance of staying healthy.

With Ferrelli and Notarnicola both nurses, and Billings having experience running her family’s business, the trio of North Shore residents decided to open up a mobile wellness operation offering a range of IV drips. Their idea became reality in July 2024 when they opened On The Glow by Glow Lab Studio.

“We decided to open an IV hydration business now because COVID really shifted people’s perspectives on health,” said Billings, who has been involved in running her family’s business, Pest Elimination Systems Technology, since she was 18.

“The pandemic made everyone more health-conscious, and with that, we noticed a growing preference for the comfort and safety of home. We saw a unique opportunity to bring essential health services directly to where people feel most comfortable. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives, and this business allows us to extend that care to our community in a meaningful way,” she added.

On The Glow by Glow Lab Studio is the mobile division of what will be Glow Lab Studio -- a brick and mortar location to open in the future, said Billings.

About IV Drips

How It Works

Clients can book online and a nurse will arrive at your chosen location to administer the IV drip therapy.

“Clients will direct message us on Instagram, text us or book through our website. We will just ask them about their medical history. We’ll have them sign some patient consent forms, and the nurses will just book their appointment. We have a menu of IV drips so they’ll pick out which one, and the nurse basically will show up and administer the infusion. It al takes 30 to 45 minutes,” she said, noting they service the tristate area.
